Personal Safety Awareness Week

On the week commencing 12th February, Newsome High are working with West Yorkshire Police and the Proactive Youth Offending Team to promote personal safety – with a focus on the dangers of gang and knife crime.

Throughout the week we will be raising awareness of knife crime by using security scanners and a range of form-time tutorials and assemblies. Our aim is to educate our young people of the dangers that we face in today’s society and the seriousness of gang and knife crime.

We have published a dedicated area for students giving information and a concern form if they are concerned about anything/anyone at risk of this national concern. Click on the icon below for more information:
